The West Indian American Day Carnival http://www.wiadca.org/ is the biggest parade in New York, with over 3 million participants annually. In 2007, a contingent of Obama volunteers walked the length of the parade route on Eastern Parkway distributing fliers, handing out materials and registering voters .
