Oct. 18 Fired up for Philly! NE Canvass (organized by Wrolf Courtney)

September 25th, 2008

We’ll be going to NE Philly to register voters and talk to them about Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

To sign up for this trip you MUST sign up at: http://wrolf.net

You will be asked for your
1) name
2) cell phone number
3) what neighborhood you live in
4) if you have a car or need a ride

NE Philly is critical to this campaign. It is an area that went strong for Hillary, and many voters there have not yet come over to Obama/Biden. The Republicans think the area is winnable for them, and it just may be the place where PA is won or lost.

We will leave from NYC at 8am sharp. We’ll get an orientation in Philly at 10am, and knock on doors until 5pm. We will be back to NYC by 8:30pm. Transportation will be a combo of private cars and the Bolt Bus. Round trip costs should be $20-$30.

Looking forward to working with you,

Wrolf Courtney

Oct. 5 Fired Up for Philly! Last day to register voters!

September 25th, 2008

THIS TRIP IS NOW CLOSED UNLESS YOU HAVE A CAR. IF NOT, PLEASE JOIN US ON ONE OF THE TRIPS LISTED FOR THE COMING WEEKS. THANKS!

Want to bring our neighboring swing state home for Obama? Making sure everyone in PA is registered to vote is a great way to help! We will work with the amazing field staff in NW/North Philly, in a combination of door-to-door canvass and voter-reg. hot spots to find and register voters, recruit local volunteers, and lay the groundwork for get-out-the-vote efforts in November.

We will be traveling from Brooklyn in a combination of cars and a chartered bus. I will get back in touch with you about travel options.

To go on this trip, you MUST email me:

  • your name
  • your cellphone number
  • your neighborhood
  • if you have a car and can give rides (how many?)
  • if you need a ride

If you are signing up for more than one person, please include all requested info for each volunteer.

Email: jeanne@brooklynforbarack.org

Unless I get that information from you, I cannot add you to the list. Please put “Oct.5 trip” in the subject line. Thanks!
